Focus on What's Important

September 25, 2017

Earlier today I considered deactivating my account on Facebook, but decided against it, only because these devotionals give me strength, peace, comfort and so much more. As many of you, I grow tired of seeing all of the disturbing events in our daily life. I find myself living in the past, but I need to focus on the future. I need to focus on my spiritual growth and what can I do to be a better disciple of God. I work hard to display the man God wants me to be. Sure I make mistakes, but I do feel as though I deal with my struggles and problems better. I addressed that a lot of the people protesting and kneeling during our Nation's Anthem would be much better off letting things go and accepting God into their heart. Life is and always will be a better place with Jesus Christ our Lord in our heart. Complaining about these people (as much as I want to) is not God's will. We need to find it in our hearts to forgive and try and help them.

Matthew 6:15

15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Please pray for my neighbors, God knows what they are dealing with. Pray for the confused, so they may see. Continue to pray for our Country and it's leaders. Pray for our Spiritual leaders. Prayer works and we need to continue to pray for the cares and concerns that weigh heavy on our hearts. Praise His name and His glories.
