Good Evening Everyone!
Tonight was my first evening with the Mission Kids. Mrs. Penny ran the the class I was in, but it was a blessing to connect with the Mission Kids. We spent most of our time with the young ladies that ranged from First grade up to Sixth grade. They were an absolute joy to work with. They all were eager to learn and Lexi Scarborough and Braelynn Keeler impressed me with how quick they caught on to things. At the end of the evening, Braelynn said the prayer, it was absolutely amazing to hear how well she did and how heart felt it was. When I was approached about this new responsibility I was really unsure it was something I wanted to do, but listening to that little child's sweet prayer got my eyes swelling. Don't close an open door; God opened this door and I'm so thankful I did not shut it.
3 John 1:4
4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.
We need to continue to prayer for His mercies as Hurricane Maria wreaks havoc on the islands Southeast of us. Pray for the victims of the earthquakes in Mexico. The children had some prayer requests tonight, God knows their requests, so let's pray for them. Pray for the concerns that weigh heavy on your heart and praise His many glories.
