Are you casting your cares?

August 6, 2017

Good Morning Everyone!

It is all to often (and I mean often) that I want to figure numerous things and/or problems out on my own. It is probably the top five things I struggle with in my life as a Christian; trying to figure it out on my own. Do you have the same problem? Do you believe you understand how we are meant to live? How we are supposed to carry on in life? How to correct the problem? And I could go on. When you are stressed or find yourself upset about something, are you leaning on your own understanding or leaving it in God's hands? Are you casting your burdens and cares on Him or working through it with the means you think is best? Pray for His guidance and understanding. Pray for Him to cast away your burdens. I know it can be tough, but be humble and lean on God. He is so powerful and Awesome-and there for us! We can't do it alone.

Psalm 55:22
"Cast your burden upon the LORD and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken."

Proverbs 3:5-6
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

Continue to pray for those that need His healing touch or guidance. Pray for our Church Leaders and Worship Team as they lead us closer to God this morning. Pray for our Country and our Country's Leaders. Praise Him in all of His glories!
