Good Morning Everyone!
As I continue to grow as a Christian I find myself struggling with pointing out problems with others. It could be a minor tick that they have and it just drives me nuts, or their attitude, maybe the way they view something differently than I do, and the list could go on. I believe that respecting others and their opinions on matters is very important, but do not poke fun of, grow angry with someone or slander them because of it. It is important to focus on the problems within, instead of with those around you. Again, if anyone is struggling with another; do not slander or have loose lips. This is not going to fix the problem; it is only going to strengthen it. I find myself doing this or being spiteful and jealous towards another. Often times doing all I could to build my case on why I was better than the other person. This did nothing in the way of good. God continues to work in me and I find myself praying to Him on just being loving and forgiving-being a better Christian. We need to be a better person. I often include the illnesses, troubles, praises and strength for my church leaders in my prayers. Other concerns I have too, but praying for me to be a better Christian needs to be a large part of my prayers.
"Mean-spirited slander is heartless; quiet discretion accompanies good sense."
Continue to pray for our Team in Ecuador. Pray for those we are aware of that need God's healing hand. Pray for the many that are dealing with something that can truly be better with God's guidance and strength. Pray for whatever concerns that weigh heavy on your heart. He is listening. Continue to praise His glories!
Maybe someone needs a song to start the day or something to lift you up...this one works for me.
