Good Morning Everyone!
Not long ago I turned my back on the Church and walked away. I thought I was man enough to handle my own problems. I was ignoring my own faults and looking at others in Church; pointing out theirs. This was wrong on so many levels. Not one man or woman is perfect; each and everyone of us have our own faults that we have to work on. From the sinner all the way up to the most seasoned Christian. We must continue studying His word; pray to Him; surround ourselves with other Christians and fellowship; attend Church or a form of gathering place that represents Church. We should not judge others and their faults; yes, it is hard, but love them as ourselves. Truth be told, when I walked away I quickly learned that I was unable to handle my life without a constant representation of God in it. Yes, He was there, but I still needed the support team of my Brothers and Sisters in Christ. I screw up daily, but when I stumble I have so many willing to pick me up and help along; most importantly, God. He is always faithful and there when I need Him. Church is a form of a recharging station for me. Returning to His house for the message and fellowship lifts me back up and fully charges my Faith Meter. For those of us struggling with something or someone...return to His kingdom (Church) and his righteousness and He will provide. Returning to Church after my failed decision to leave was the best thing to happen to me. It can happen to you or yours.
Please Pray for Pastor Corey and the Sunday School teachers as they provide their messages in Sunday School and give the sermon. Pray for the Praise Team as they life us all up with song. Pray for our VBS Team as they reach out and touch so many kids this week and show them God's Love and all he has to provide. Pray for the things that weigh heavy on your heart and PRAISE Him for all that he has blessed you with! Thank him and love Him!
Have a Blessed Day!
"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
