Good Morning Everyone!
I'm not sure about you, but yesterday I was moved like I had never been before. When Eric shared his testimony and sung MercyMe's song Even If, I choked up a lot. We all struggle with something; I struggle daily. I've heard this song dozens of times, but it did not mean all that much to me before I saw my dear friend and Brother sing it yesterday. You could see him struggling to get through the song. This morning I decided to tie yesterday's moving sermon and worship in to my devotion, because it moved me so. I went searching for the Bible verse to connect the dots and my favorite verse was on top of the list.
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."
We have to surrender to God and let him work it out. We cannot fool ourselves into believing we can do it without Him in our corner. Whatever you have in your life that you struggle with, please kneel down and pray to our Lord and Savior about it. Do not fret over it, He already knows, so humble yourself and lean on Him to help you.
Let's pray for our Missions Team making their travels back home. Continue to pray for Bruce's wife LaRay. Pray for The Sharp Family as they prepare to lay a member of their family to rest. Pray for our Pastor, he needs his time to rest and recharge his spiritual batteries during his vacation. Pray for the many concerns and problems that weigh heavy on your heart. Pray for those struggles that you or others may be deal with. Praise Jesus for the many people touched and moved so much by Eric yesterday. Praise Him for everything that he has blessed you with.
Have a Blessed Day!
